Outline Planning Permission was granted in October 2024 after which we submitted our Reserved Matters Application. This was granted in January 2025.
STRATEGIC LAND ALDERHOLT, DORSET
This site sits on the edge of one of the most unconstrained villages in Dorset. Surrounded by residential development on all sides, the development of this site is the natural location for the village to grow. Vehicle and pedestrian access will be taken from a newly formed entrance onto Daggons Road in the north-east corner of the site. From here it is a short walk to all the facilities in the village, such as pubs, shops and a primary school to name a few.

The proposal is for 25 dwellings, 7 of which (30%) are affordable homes. These homes are a mixture of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bed dwellings. The site sits adjacent to the Walberton Green Conservation Area, therefore the design quality of each property was carefully considered, and a scheme was created by taking inspiration from the best architectural design found in the village.
The scheme also benefits from two areasof public open space, one with its own pond and the other that connects with Walberton Green to the east. Vehicleaccess is taken from Eastergate Lane and pedestrian access is onto West Walberton Lane.

160 NEW HOMES, NITRATE & BIODIVERSITY CREDITS AND COUNTRY PARK WICKHAM, HAMPSHIRE
This significant development opportunity is being promoted through the Winchester Local Plan review.
Macra bought the farm in 2020 and, aside from the clear development opportunity, we are looking to provide nutrient and biodiversity credits on the land proposed for a
country park.
The development would be accessed from Hoad’s Hill to the east of the site, with the development area ’rounding off’ the southern tip of Wickham. The remaining land would be turned into public open space to protect the gap between Wickham and the strategic development site – Welborne.
In addition to the circa 160 houses, the site can also provide around 60 Bio-Diversity Net Gain credits that can be sold.
The site is being promoted through the current Winchester Local Plan Review, we are confident that the site will be allocated in due course. We continue to work closely with Wickham & Knowle Parish who have now confirmed this site as their preferred allocation.
